The Importance of Omega 3
Omega 3 fatty acids belong to the family of so called unsaturated fatty acids. They are produced by a group of certain sea planktons that are then eaten by the fish, and some plants such as flax and turnip rape in their seeds.
In the body these acids have effect on many things such as nervous system functionality, eyesight, cholesterol and blood pressure. In the studies fish oil has shown a four percent increase in the use of energy and 22 percent increase in the burning of fat.
Omega 3 acids also increase the bodys ability to create testosterone, result in less inflammation and healthier joints. These are the reasons Omega 3 can be said to be almost mandatory supplement for all athletes! It is recommended to have omega 3 fatty acids daily, usually one capsule per day.
