Banned NFL Players May Be Let to Finish The Season
Recently a bunch of NFL players were banned casue their blood samples contained prohibited diuretic, bumetanide. The diuretic can be used as a masking agent for steroids. Now a new law suit is filed, asking the banned players to be allowed finish the season.
The new lawsuit, filed by the National Football League Players Association, states N.F.L. failed to properly warn players that the banned substance was contained in a over-the-counter weight-loss pill. The chemical did not appear on the product’s label.
The union states that an NFL lawyer and a doctor knew about this product, StarCaps, containing the banned diuretic. This is considered an unique situation in the history of NFL. What will be the court order, that will be seen soon.
